The TM300-ETA series of remote monitors are designed specifically for school bus use with the ultimate goal of student safety and security. The TM300-ETA1 and TM300ETA2 allow for not only the tracking of buses on their routes but when paired with our RFID tracking cards, record a student’s entry and exit of a school bus. Each student is assigned a unique number associated with an individual RFID card. School bus GPS routing and assigned RFID numbers are updated every 2 minutes on LCON’s secure website. LCON’s “Bus Routes and ETA” (estimated time of arrival” app is available free of charge for use in smartphones and mobile devices. The “Bus Route and ETA” app allows parents to monitor their child’s progress while the child is on a TM300-ETA equipped bus. In addition to location, the TM300-ETA series provides the child’s school with either a 2-minute video clip (ETA1) or a still shot (ETA2) from TM300-ETA cameras allowing for a visual confirmation of a student entering and exiting their TM300-ETA equipped school bus. Pictures/video are saved locally and transmitted school networks via WiFi when the bus is within range. In edition to promoting student safety and security, the TM300-ETA series aids school administrators and teachers in the accurate recording of student attendance.
